Who needs 3D

Interesting story about the latest animated 3D movie called 'Mars needs Moms' looking like it's about to bomb badly because people have finally become sick of being gouged an extra 40% for price as the novelty of 3D wears off.

I think maybe in the case of this film, it's also about the dumb title and premise of the thing that's caused it to bomb.

I stopped seeing the 3D version of films very soon after Avatar as I felt it wasn't worth paying extra for something that often irritates and distracts me, instead of actually adding 'value' to the film.
