Didn't know much about this beforehand and really enjoyed it. Took a bit of time to build up momentum but was pretty gripping when it got there. It's an adventure starring Russell Crowe (not an actor who i feel usually engages the viewer that well) but thought he suited he role in this as a school teacher who gets taken to the edge in considering the planning of getting his wife out of jail for a murder she allegedly didn't commit. With a young son to care for himself does he give up his seemingly ludacrus plan and get involved with a new woman he meets or does he persevere against the odds? You've guessed it. Last 30 mins it very gripping stuff and makes it worthwhile
