Space Hulk

"The box contains: a 23-page Rulebook, a 47-page Mission book and 35 plastic Citadel miniatures, including: 11 Space Marine Terminators, one Space Marine Terminator Librarian, 22 Genestealers, and one Broodlord.

Also included are: 105 gaming counters, 24 corridors, 10 rooms, eight crossroads, eight T-junctions, six corner sections, four dead ends, four end pieces, 20 doors with plastic stands, one mission status display, and three plastic mission objectives, including: a dead Space Marine on throne, a Blood Angels artefact and a Cyber-Altered Task Unit. Plus a sand timer and five bone-coloured dice unique to this game."

having cleaned up and assembled my minis for the game, i must say that they're fabulously detailed and embarrassingly easy to assemble, requiring only to be clipped from the frame and a minimal amount of trimming.

Now if that 2nd pic was your painting, I'd be impressed.

I actually played two rounds of the first scenario last weekend. It is pretty hard for the space marines, I think I have a good idea about how I could make it with luck (basically, rush for the door close in to the control room and use flame to keep them back from the intersection if I can survive the couple of aliens that would be there).

I did get to the point where I could see the door if I turned, but unfortunately my space marines didn't survive (the one who killed the most was the flamer who killed 2+3+3+5 or something).

(I still think that Space Marines suck, but genestealers are cool.)

Disappointed this isn't about the Incredible Hulk wearing a spacesuit.

I just read the summary of what's happened to Hulk over the years on Wikipedia.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hulk_%28comics%29#The_Hulk

Amazing.

that first mission is difficult if you're intent on keeping all your marines alive. the only one that needs to survive is the flamer. keep your firing lanes open and go on overwatch and clear a path for your flamer to get to the room.
