yes but very cartoony. Also will be free - they want you to pay to customise your character with uniforms, silly hats etc. Havnt had a chance to play yet, am planning on spending the bank holiday on it though

Friend got into the beta too. Had a play a couple of weeks ago. Very arcady, planes were a laugh - might be fun for a quick game every now and then. Personally looking forward to 1943!

Battlefield 1943 will apparently only accommodate 24 players, which I assume means 12 per side rather than 24 per side?

Still enjoying this - got a good drop in, play for a bit, drop out feel but not sure of its long term appeal. its a little dominated by people using sniper rifles at short range at the moment.
