That happens when I order lunch.

"Oh, he's going for the fries again. The fans are not going to be happy with this. Listen to that crowd reaction. He's got a side of boo birds to go with that sandwich, I'll tell you what."

It can't possibly suck.
Venom playing it could suck but not the game itself.

Yep. That would suck

(although you can play it with a normal controller, very not good though)

If someone gets me the game it's guaranteed to happen. Then I'll have to buy one of those awesome mods that KG has linked to.

You can buy the normal guitar controller seperately. I got Tizzy a second one for her birthday.

maybe they have an atari 2600 controller you could use - it'd be really gratifying to rip the cover off it

I got it and it had the controller. I was just rocking out some on easy but now I have to go to bed. Early flight. Game is very fun so far, but my fingers hurt.

Track list for guitar hero 3 looks sweet.

* Paint It Black (by The Rolling Stones)
* Cherub Rock (by Smashing Pumpkins)
* Sabotage (by Beastie Boys)
* The Metal (by Tenacious D)
* My Name is Jonas (by Weezer)
* Knights of Cydonia (by Muse)
* Rock And Roll All Nite (as made famous by Kiss)
* School’s Out (as made famous by Alice Cooper)
* Slow Ride (as made famous by Fog Hat)
* Cult of Personality (by Living Colour)
* Barracuda (as made famous by Heart)

Most formats will come with a Les Paul controller, while the PS version will have an Eddie Van Halen style Kramer guitar.

The ones that say "by xxx" as opposed to "as made famous by xxx" is the original music right?

I don't know, I just copied and pasted from somewhere else. Is that how it worked before? Makes sense I suppose.

Well yes, but so far only one track out of 2 games has been the original music, that looks like a lot more people have submitted theirs

You know, I finally played this on saturday night. Proved to me once and for all how uncoordinated I am.

I think I scored 75% on an easy track. "Slow Ride" I think, though I may be completely wrong there. Kinda inspired me to maybe go out and grab a copy for myself.

Easy sometimes isn't so easy - sometimes your ears tell your fingers they should be doing something on easy, but because its "easy", they leave that part out of what comes down the screen.

Was watching my sister's boyfriend play Aerosmith, and he kept getting burned that way. Maybe that only happens if you've played on other difficulties first.

It happens if you know roughly how to play the song properly anyway.

Oh, I must admit that I didn't think 75% was actually that bad for my very first go. God I felt unco though.

Well, bought myself Guitar Hero: Aerosmith.

And got a good speech from the sales girl about World Tour. Now that sounds interesting. Guitars, drums, and a microphone...

Will be interesting though, cos for some odd reason, I have always thought that drumming would be harder than guitar. Now I guess I'll have a chance to get what is most likely a completely useless comparison.

I got World Tour last week. I've completed the Medium Career and I'm about 30% of the way through on hard now (on Guitar).

I used to play a Les Paul a long time ago so I think that has helped a little but I'm still pretty shit.

I was weighing up which one to buy and I went for Guitar Hero in the end as they did the guitar and game for £55. Unfortunately I didn't know about all the DLC for Rock Band so I'm planning on completing expert on GH:WT then swapping it for RB2.

The online band mode is great fun though and I've heard it's even better in RB2.

One of my friends bought GH World tour just after Christmas and I absolutely love it! We saw the new year in by playing it, need a lot more practice on the drums though. I can't do star power on drums because I get confused and forget which colours are which But I love that game more than anything in the world.

I got GHWT for xmas to complement RB2, mostly for the tracks. RB2 is absolutely the better game.

serious industry people are predicting that bands will favor releasing tunes on guitar hero rather than traditional singles.

i think that's an awful thought, particularly as a lot of the best music doesn't have guitars.
