Guitar chord books

I was flipping through these in the shop today, and I found one for Nick Drake songs. They look so easy!

So if I buy one, and put my fingers where the black dots are, will I be able to play stuff like "Cello song" or "Three hours"? Because I thought they sounded quite tricky, really.

Hmm, judging by this tab Three Hours looks pretty tricky: http://www.911tabs.com/link/?3819188

Let's put it this way- it sounds like Drake had 14 fingers on his right hand.

Wow, that must have been bloody hard to play. So it sounds terrible?

I think he also used some different tunings.

Yes- I've seen two tabs for "Three hours", and they can't agree on the tuning. He used all sorts of tunings from song to song- it's a bit disturbing to think what a guitar monster he was.

Before I knew about the tunings, I tried to work three hours out by ear - drove me nuts and I gave up.
