Smackdown vs Raw

K_G - Venom wants to know about the differences between the 360 vs PS2 versions, because I was telling him about it and he thought it sounded fun.

But he's scared of posting in this forum after his PS3 thread disaster.

I'm not going to risk creating any new threads in the games forum. Can't take the chance.

The differences that i could see are literally only in the graphics. I didn't see the season mode and some of the other stuff on ps2 but from what i could see all the content was there.

And although the 360's graphics are noticeably better, it's not because the ps2 versions are shit.

Also the control mechanism is identical and works just as well on both systems. Only other real difference i can think of is the 360 version seems to load and save things a bit quicker with the hard drive.

Basically from what i saw this weekend, there's very little between them.

Oh and as a game generally it's great. I bought last year's one and it was horrible, but the new control mechanism is a massive improvement, and the new season mode is brilliant.

Might have to check this one out. It's been a long time since I've played a wrestling game.

the last one i had played before last year's effort was the original smackdown on the ps1 i think, so about 5 years ago. most of the controls were actually still the same.

I played Smackdown on the PS1 and it was terrible!

Bring back the glory days of WWF Summerslam on the Megadrive!
