Post Opera Mini 2.0

Came across this web browser for mobile phones over the weekend. It automatically compresses images and text etc through it's own proxy making it cheaper to use as well. Interface is simple, clean and easy to use (It's much better than the unusable nokia web browser for instance)

I even posted here last night with it! It should work with all modern phones...

They are, because neither exists and all non-entities are the same.

All three exist as of today.

The US army is already using small holographic displays in the field. Several war rooms have large holographic displays (they are best for displaying topography).

Direct Mind interfaces already exist. They are currently only in use by quadrapalegics and researchers.

Graphic representations of the net exists. There's several graphic shells and apps that create "Cyber space" as displayed in various movies. All you have to do is dig on the web if you want to find them.

Now, if you mean why don't you have it? The good stuff costs money. A good 65K color holographic display costs between 15K to 25K, depending on display "tank" size. You can't get a direct brain hook up, but you can buy the equipment to get direct nerve hook ups (via arms, neck, or scalp). But you have to be a good hacker (in the true sense) to get your rig running well for you, and you may have to write your own code.

The cyberspace displays are pretty low featured items, so most people don't use them because they want something well fleshed out and requires no work for them.

Now, if you could dump $100K or more, you could get a great, full featured cyberspace system--- called "Caves". Includes 3D net cyberscape that are well featured. I hear it plays Doom 3 very sweetly as well.

This technology is about as old as 1997, as far as I recall.
