i've done the first couple of garage missions in san fierro and just did the first jizzy mission last night

'deconstruction' was fun, with the bulldozer and the cement mixer

done all but the last challenge at the driving school, that fucker is hard

the other mission pissing me off is the one where you have to shoot down the radio controlled planes with the minigun. i just fucking hate the shooting missions with the ps2 controller.

I hated that Air Raid mission - tried over twenty times then one day did it no problem at all - 20 seconds to spare. Think the game took pity on me and gave me a free

Just got into Los Venturas last night. Found the last few missions before getting in were a piece of cake. A lot easier than the earlier ones and i'm sure it's not just through practise.

my favourite mission is the one where you fly north in a dodo and then you have to jump out onto the Shamal and shoot the gang members dead.

Failed two missions last night, the 3rd OG mission where you have to steal one of mad dogg's cars - that was down to my crappy driving but i can see i can complete it, and also the 3rd BS mission where you have to fight the russians and escape the truck and some bikes chasing you while you do the operation wolf-type shooting. That one is going to piss me off, as nav was saying those type of missions are a real pain in the butt

my guy is still ripped from working out, but i think i might have to make him wear some more clothes to boost his sex appeal - so far i'vew only seen shops for hoodies and jeans and sportswear and stuff, does anyone know if there is a clothes shop where i can buy a suit or a fur coat or some other ghetto fabulous outfits?
My brother was doing the "Russian" last night, repeatedly. Deliberately.

We found you could pick up at least $500 each time from the Russkies in the first two scenes (in the building and out on the plaza), and if you allow Smoke to die before you get to that damn motorcycle chase, you can just walk away.

"C'mon Smoke, let's take another ride!!! HAHAHAHA!!!"

He has nearly enough to buy another house, and he's fully loaded on weapons and armor for other missions.

Waste of time, you just takeover all the gang territories, that gets you loads of money and weapons (including AK46's).

yeah did that the other day, great fun

you found it too easy? wow, dude you must be l337 because i've put in 35 odd hours apparently and only have a 45% completion according to the stats page. Don't know how much of the main quest i have to do, nearly ready to do the casino heist in las venturas and have nearly completed the toreno missions i think (got some bitch of a mission involving driving onto the ramp of a taxiing plane )

easiest money making technique so far - video poker in the casino, won $625000 on a 25000 stake (although i was $300000 down a couple of times )

also the import export missions are very easy money makers

I'm about as far into it as you but haven't done the Toreno missions yet; 40% in, 25hrs play (is that all? - seems like much more).

I managed to get mega bucks very early on - my bank balance is currently $52,653,464 from a few successful visits to Inside Track ) Can't believe how many hours before that I spent hustling pool for a few measly bucks.

This game really kicks ass though. I only got it for Xmas so haven't got all that far. I reckon I must be about half way through the San Fierro missions at the moment. I just love the feeling of having so much to discover in a game - there's always something new to go and try and so many different ways to just mess around and have fun with this game.

Nightmare that one! It's been a while but I seem to remember trying to tear round corners and getting all out of shape, rolling the van and generally losing my sunny disposition. I think I got eventually did it by doing it as calmly as possible. Bit like most difficult bits in games; try a hundred times and get nowhere; get up the next day and do it first time no problem...

I do well, then you get stuck behind a vehicle, and although you could go around, you would miss 3-4 of the bundles, and therefore precious seconds.... Infuriating...

I lost count of how many times I attempted the Porn Van mission, but I eventually made it. I think that it's the last of the El Burro missions. You get stacks of magazines by your hideout. Not much of a payoff. I love III and VC, but not enough to try for a perfect game.

what's the maximum amount you can wager at Inside Track?

I was playing blackjack for a million $ a pop last night, quite amusing.

Oh i meant to say two other things:

1) Protein was spot on when he said that maccer was the best character in the game.

*slight spoiler*

2) the wooing the croupier mission is brilliant. My guy looked absolutely fucking hilarious in the gimp suit, complete with sideways baseball cap still on '

Don't think there is a limit - I bet about $10 million on a 5-1 shot I think and it came in. The only problem is you have to keep clicking the $10,000 button (1000 times to get to 10 million ) and there's the obvious fact that you horse probably won't come in and you'll have to reload. Just gotta have patience...

Maccer's a star - I nearly missed him having a sly one next to the casino window over the pool girls Totally missed what the mission was about.

My CJ did the Gimp Suit with a Red Beret. Fantastic. Strange how you have to go through the whole routine of wining and dining her afterwards though...

been some fun missions lately, stowaway, black ops and green goo were all good. Shame the st. mark's bistro one was so short and easy.

I fucking hate 'A place of our own'. The shooting bits are so easy but the car chase with big poppa is driving me mad. Every time i fuck it up i have to restart the mission and do the whole shooting bti again just to get back to it and fuck it up again and restart the mission and go back to the shooting bit etc, etc.

Here's my CJ happy that after 3 hours of trying to do Freefall (where you have to fly into the moving plane, take out the 4 passengers, the pilot, and land it) yesterday, he tries today and does it first time.

I'm on the final mission of this game now. Already failed it once while trying to escape from the burning warehouse, but I'll win it eventually. There's plenty still to do after I complete the storyline of course. This is definitely one of the best 3 games I've ever played.

Good to know I wasn't the only one. I opened up Los Venturas a long time ago but still haven't completed my missions with Z. Finally passed the one where you have to shoot down Berkeley's planes (gave up on it for about 2 months ), but now I'm stuck on the one after where you have to take out all the couriers with the RC plane. I usually end up running out of fuel. I'm thinking of snapping the disc.

Back on the case now after finally passing all of Zed's missions. Its really opened up again. Have met Maccer (after reading lots about him here). Don't think anybody here mentioned that Shaun Ryder does the voice for Maccer. Maybe because its obvious and I've just stated the obvious (damn). But its refreshing to here words like Fanny and C*nt being used be good effect.

Anyway, people at work say I look tired. Damn right, i've been up til the early hours playing this mother for the last 2 nights. Will have to resist tonight I think.
