Recommend me some music that I would like but you dismiss as crap

Or that you like as well that I may like.

I like:
Incubus (Everything from the pre-SCIENCE funk to the post-SCIENCE mellow rock)
Matchbox 20 (Everything from Tabitha's Secret through the latest)
Third Eye Blind (mostly the 1st selftitled, and last Out of the Vein album)
Collective Soul (it's all good)
Dashboard Confessional
Something Corporate
etc

Those are all crap!

Try harder.

Actually I've heard good things about Ben Folds (I don't think it's Five anymore). I will try some of that.

I love you.

Their first album is pure pop-punk, so avoid that, you won't like it. The second album, Deja Entendu, isn't pop-punk at all.

Try...

Sic Transit Gloria... Glory Fades
I Will Play My Game Beneath the Spin Light
Okay I Believe You, but My Tommy Gun Don't
Me vs. Maradona vs. Elvis

The song titles bear little relation to the actual songs...

No, but they give me a bad vibe. They sound like what pompous artists call their paintings.

I've got loads of bands I dislike but whenever I think of them I think "No, no, calling that Asher Music would be too cruel."

Yes, but you're a chunky swede going for an arts degree, so ultimately no one would care.

There's music you like, but you think we'd dismiss it offhand. Meanwhile you want to hear new music, but are rejecting suggestions unheard.

You need to be in LWP.

Thanks for your recommendations.

I bought the latest Coldplay album and the latest Jonny Lang album. They are both brilliant.

Thank you.
