Are you insinuating Johann Mühlegg is anything less than a bona fide flamenco-dancing Toreador?

Given the investigation that is under way, that Spanish tally might not last that long.

Looks as if Austria are back ahead of Spain, then.

So did I, we've got another bronze in something... I'll go and find out what it was.

Oh... I remember now, heard it on the radio this morning Alain Baxter got a bronze in the Slalom. Britain's first ever medal on snow in the Olympics!!!!

Quote:
Baxter's bronze was a huge surprise but proved, despite the lack of funds handed to talented athletes, Britain can produce world class competitors.

The British Government must now take note and instead of reducing grants, as they have done year-on-year in skiing for more than a decade, they should do our Winter Olympians justice.
Best Winter Olympics for us for 66 years!

Mens slalom. A couple of medal candidates bombed out because they tried too hard, but the course was difficult and deteriorated as the competition progressed. Thus, because the fastest from the earlier rounds go last, they were at a disadvantage.
