The locals seem a little bored though. Posts about nothing, written in a strange form of gibberish. From what I gather this culture is not put off by spam... Could this be the paradise that was written about in the Journals of Jack Meof?

Perhpas, the truth will be unveiled!

Crap-ola! I gotta get some work done.

Hmmm, is crap-ola hyphenated?

Not posts about nothing, posts about anything and everything.

There aren't many forums where you can often see references to anal sex and penis puns sitting side-by-side with jokes about ancient history and quantum physics.

Yes. As "Rock-Ola" (the classic jukebox manufacturer to which this word is clearly an homage) uses a peculiarly 20th-centure pun hyphenation technique, one could expect the "ola" part to be from another word, meaning the hyphen could be dropped in the modernised context. In actual fact, however, the name was chosen not because of the ola suffix, nor in actual fact because of the Rock prefix as one might expect. The first Rock-Ola brand jukebox was built in the thirties long before Rock'n'Roll was even thought of.

No, the brand name derives from the name of the company's founder, David C. Rockola. Unless you want to debase this modern genius I suggest one should not disfigure his name, at most that of his corporation.

I'll probably be spending some more time here, I have "LEFT FOREVER" on Poly.

Gave MtG strict instructions to leave the account restricted and ignore any requests I may make in the future to unban me.

I will have to spend more time on CG, AnandTech, Beyond3D, and IGN.

The nicotine effect is easy to break. Cutting back doesn't work, that's why I stopped. No idea what will happen, there may be some shall we say problems brewing where I might suffer a setback...

Well, keep trying if you really want to quit. Don't get upset over taking a break from quitting... habits are very strong, and you still got to break your thinking/stressing/etc habits... all you common and uncommon behaviors that you have a habit of smoking.

I still remember one of the hardest parts of my work day when I was first quitting was getting stopped at the first traffic light here by my house on the drive to work. That's where I used to light up and have my first cig on the drive in... took several years to get over that impulse.

Good luck!
