Well, interesting week. Lovely 18 points for me from my Liverpool defenders. Nice goal by Hyppia there. I'm up to fourth. Great week by Nav back in 10th, he should soon be past The Shaker the way things are going. No change in the top three but Beta1 is catching Sean at quite a rate.

The trouble is Beta1 and I have the same forward line (I cashed in on Hyypia though) although I think the rest of his team looks crap.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that. Next tuesday is the Fulham game, the points will be added back onto this weeks tally.

They are crap, just not as crap as yours

Oh yeah and I've got the van der saar as captain + fulham defender and midfielder....

Is Pires back next week? I could do with him in midfield so I can drop legwinski back out.

Might upgrade someone - I've got .4 million in the bank and a team worth 77+

I'm thinking of getting Pires back as well. As far as I know he was suspended for one match. Unfortunately I picked the wrong replacement for him. I was doubting between Beckham and Giggs. If I had bought Giggs I would have been one point ahead of Mike.

I will have to sell Van Nistelrooy to buy Pires back, but he will probably be rested for some matches again now that the CL starts next week.

He's got the Holland - England game midweek, then CL. I can seem him being rested on Saturday.

I just checked the BBC and there are no premiership matches this weekend; only cup matches. So we have some time to decide about transfers.

Pires comes back as captain to replace Beckham. Up front Wiltord and Angel get their chance to replace Van Nistelrooy and Jansen.

Wiltord? Interesting choice, especially with berkamp coming back from suspension soon, kanu coming back from the african cup thingy, and henry a definate start....

considering buying malbranue back, but what i really need is another big player. the idea of three strikers (current 2 + shearer maybe) is tempting but expensive, dunno really I'm a bit limited by playing 5 3 2.

Have to look at the match list and decide based on that I think.

Well, Bergkamp still has two matches to go. And when exactly does Kanu come back? I still have 1.5 left to spend that I didn't yet know what to do with, so I could replace him. After all, I have already made more transfers than everybody else together, so one more won't hurt me.

Wiltord was absolutely godawful against Everton yesterday, the goal he scored was a total fluke as well.

Malbranque is a big player. Certainly in terms of the points he's got me.

I only bought Wiltord because he'd been getting points lately and was relatively cheap. I had also considered Gudjohnson, but I noticed that Chelsea won't play next weekend. I also noticed that Heskey did well the last two weeks, but I'm not sure if he'll keep that up.

I should probably follow English football a bit closer. Right now I'm only basing my transfers on how many points the players get in CYKI.

That's not a bad way to do it, often players can play well and not get any points.

Out- McAllister, Keane, Van Nistelrooy (gulp)

In- Lampard, Poyet and Gudjohnson.

Shedding the sole reason for my revival was tough, but I badly need a stronger midfield.

Interesting that you buy Poyet when he hasn't played the last couple of matches...

I actually got quite a good week, considering my defence leaked a total of 10 goals and none of my players scored. .

I’m sticking with this side, though, and I have one good reason for doing so: transfers cost points, and there’s no point in not giving big-point potential a chance to prove its point.

Well played Beta1, though. A 50 point lead is about two weeks catch-up for him .

Yeah, that is sad news.

He scored the fastest ever goal in an FA Cup final for Chelsea.

I'm getting tired of my strikers not scoring goals. So my new forward line consists of Solskjaer, Van Nistelrooy and Bergkamp. I don't care if they don't play all the time; it's not like the strikers I had before got lots of points when they played.

So far Brevett's assist is the only positive news for me in today's matches.

Bollock bollocks bollocks i could have sworn I had changed my captian back to van nistleroy. Bollocks Bollocks Bollocks.

This is what happens when I cant access it at work and only remember to sort it out about 1 hr before the deadline.

Actually I just followed that link it looks like the site is accessable again. IT must be playing!!

Looks like a low scoring week all round. But I cant belive they didnt credit solkjaer with an assist. Unless I'm hallucinating (which given the amount I've drunk the last few days) he definately made the last touch before van nistleroy stuck it in.

Sean - well done with the fulham prediction. I didnt think arsenal would put that many through ( I figured maybe 1-2). I definately think its time to look elsewhere for defenders, esp with them playing liverpool away next week.

Just got to hope for a good newcastle result now.

Still debating whether to hold on to solkjaer still - I could make a very good profit on him now and trade up, esp as I'm sitting on .4million in the bank.

Solskjaer did set up van Nistelrooy, so they will probably change that.

Just discovered Andy Oakes went off injured, so no clean sheet .
