We got a 7-inch sampler demo into the office, but looking over that list I've got at least a quarter of what's on there. I'm still considering buying it, but I'll put it down as being for later. Who knows they might send us the full thing.

It should be stressed that some of the tracks on there are utter crap.

I have a relatively well founded tendency to trust Laz and at that price I can trust him even easier.
The title of the compilation in chance it hits nearby stores as well?

But surely "Agitated" alone makes up for any deficiencies?

Ok thanks. I don't buy from the net though. I have an ideological repulsion to credit cards. (because I know with my habits I'll be sucked dry of whatever money I have)

I might have to buy this.
As well seen a few other albums to get from amazon as well, but I can't talk about them as the artist is on LWP3

It's got songs from Rocket from the Crypt, Mudhoney, Butthole Surfers, The Pixies, Monster Magnet, MC5... who I like + many more.

And Guitar Wolf who you were telling me about and I want to hear but I can't download any of because their website's all in Japanese.

And a few others.

I like a lot of good music. Think about how much you liked my recent recommendations to you: At the Drive in, Hundred Reasons, Jimmy Eat World, Mad Capsule Markets, Queens of the Stone Age...

Ok, fair point (except the Mad Capsule Markets bit).

It's just madness isn't it. Maybe they're scared that one day they'll suddenly think "fuck, I've got 8gb's of Mp3's cluttering up my hard drive." Or is that just me?

Funko's so lame he can't even pull a sheep. He actually downloads Mpegs of sheep fucking from some seedy site operating out of Wales. It's true. It's the real reason he doesn't join a file-sharing program, he doesn't want anyone to find out.

sorry Mike, your secrets out now.

That's not a bad track. Then again, anything coming after the preceding track would sound decent. "Underdog" is dreadful.

Never heard it, most of the Dirtbombs stuff is great. Especially "I'm Through With White Girls".

Exception: The cover of "Living for the City" on the latest album.

The more tracks off here I hear the more I'm considering buying the compilation.

I find The Kills a bit too undigested for my liking. All their songs sound the same, or at least float out into one continuous rambling goo after a while.

I got The Kills album this morning from Virgin's 3 for £20 sale. It sounds quite good I reckon, kind of like a less aggressive PJ Harvey with some bloke also singing occasionally.
