I lost two pounds today, but was shocked to realize I gained it back after I ate.

I've decided that rather than excercise, I'm going to fast. It's easier.

What does it mean if a girl has a widish gold band on her wedding finger? No thin band or diamond ring. She smiles at me (I think). And she's cute...

Have been sorta bad last while. Over last 2 weeks only ran about 40% of the days. Last few days did nothing as was sick. Today: 189, roller-bladed in park. Lots of cute girls.

Maybe I can be lighter than you. Just because of you getting heavier? Anyway, you weren't fat to start with. Keep pumping iron.

I would like to be arround 170

~180 has been sort of the usual for me (the last 4 years)

with drops to 175 and rises to 190 (felt overweight than)

I am fat now (particularly stomach), but it is not too bad

one thing is that I am much stronger now, than I was last summer (same weight, way less muscle)

76 kg. That's... ~170 pounds?

So, should I do weightlifting or running?

Well I just got on the scales for the first time in about three months and found out I've lost a whole stone!

I am now as light now as when I was about 17-18, I'm still a lazy sedentary loafer but due to lots of travelling and hardly working this last year I've had to cut down my luxuries - including alcohol!

It seems alcohol is my achilles heel...

71 kgs as of ten minutes ago. I weigh what I did when I was 17 too (when I got to 18-19 I put on some weight...got up to 75 kgs or so)

God I'm lazy. I should start running again.

Same here (71kgs), my exercise is very sporadic, involving about 2-4 miles of cycling a week and some walking. Oh and grocery shopping!

I'm stuck at 230 lbs. No matter how much I sit at my computer, no matter how much cheese and chocolate I eat, I can't seem to lose weight.

So I'm going to start posting in this thread to try and motivate myself to change.

I've done some long walks. That's really about it, and things are as porkatronic as ever. This is my week to make some headway ~~~ plan to massively reduce calories and ratchet up the walking till I can handle a run.

Wow, I too am 5'11 and range in that weight category. Thankfully, I'm not ugly though...

How are you ugly? And girls don't really care about prettiness. I think they go more for guts.

Samual Johnson said that a man's handsomeness rests entirely in his height. So I don't think facial features matter that much. And that said, I'm 5-9 and have never had any problems with women.

Good point Dyl.

I've only ever once scored a woman remotely close to my height. And wow was it fun.

I had a couple girlfriends who were my height (give or take an inch). I figure if they want a taller guy, they could have picked one, but they decided to hook up with me. I never noticed much of a difference in terms of sex or walking/hilding hands between a girl who is 5-9 and one who is 5-4. Girls who are 5-0 or so, I start to notice things with the height delta. Had one gf, who was a little half-Jap. She would tell me when I had a bugger INSIDE my nose.

The taller ones can do different things from the smaller ones. Since I get less tall, I think of those things as more exotic+interesting.

I don't think I would go for a taller woman as I am only about 5'7" myself...so it would seem pretty silly...
