ok, this is the new workout club

I basically haven't worked out from about a week before I met GP

I started officially again today, but did nto do much

I went freom 170 a week before I met GP, to 175 arround the time I met GP to 182 arround Jan 1st

unfortunately the rest of january I did nothing and so I am sure that my muscles have weakened

fortunately I did so little, apparently, over January that I hardly even ate and so I am back down to 174.2

are you trying to gain weight?

I have been working out as well. I just finished eating and finished playing my game. But in about 30 minutes I will work out.

I am trying to put on muscle, yet lose weight (around my waist).

I have lost so much my clothes really don't fit. good thing I have belts. I went down about 3 belt notches. Probably lost 3 inches in my waist. I lost about 25 pounds.

actually I may work out in the morning

I have a hard time working out in the afternoon. It is so much easier to do in the morning for some reason.

I have been working out twice a week. That has been enough to lose weight in addition to my highly regulated food intake.

I figure te working out is for the toning up

the running is for the weight loss (for me at least)

It can.

Some people are blessed enough to have a fat metabolism and a natural physique that is fairly toned.

I lost about 30 pounds by getting a job and having food in a different building that the one I lived in. Then I went to University, and paid for my food (so now I actually have to eat), and stopped working. It's all coming back slowly; I have no actual evidence--my pants are still way too big--but I can feel it. I've set the lofty goal of getting up at 9:00, when my alarm goes off, at least three days per week (the three days my classes start at 10:30 instead of 10:00). Once I reach that point, I'll move on to something exercise-related during my extra spare time (I haven't worked that part out yet).

On doctor's orders, I lost 18kg in the last 10 months (from 110 to 92, at least another 20 to go for decent shape).

Bad thing is, I haven't resolved yet to submit myself to any regular physical activity whatsoever.
I have a cyclette at home, but only rode it (1hr long, but mild effort) 3 or 4 times over that period.
Anyway, hypertension *forbids* me to workout with weights, tightening my muscle tone is evil for me.
Only bland, aerobic activity.
For an overall benefit, swimming should be my way to go (I also have some knee problem forcing me to avoid jogging or joints-impact activity).
But you know, it's always "the next week"...

I should start working out, I can't get myself to actually do anything really active though. I don't need to lose weight, but becoming a bit more fit would be nice.

The recent loss means I've suddenly regained my ideal weight (76 kg, 184 cm). But I could need some work on the upper body. Legs are doing fine from walking and biking.

Personally, I think I could use some more weight (80 kg, 1.95 m). The problem is that the only place I seem to be gaining weight in is my beer gut.

Yesterday, 190 lb. 29:36 3-mile run (was dark and raining...bad time and I really slacked once I knew I was going to be slow...still I give myself credit for going.) rode bike lightly for 30 minutes (picking up car from the shop).

Oh...asked coffee house girl out. We are having dinner tonight. She is a professor at GA Tech. Maybe she knows Victor Galis. I've got a lot of better things to chat with her than that...

I discovered that by eating nothing but rice and spaghetti I can maintain my weight without really having to work out much. It's a good diet plan, because now I can eat for about ten bucks a week.

Working out is too boring.

weight 189!! Wahooo! broke the 190 mark.

Run: 27:24 (A dropoff but still better than Milla. And better than yesterday.) I think I run better when it is a little warmer and I'm in shorts and t-shirt...
