It's annoying that they didn't use normal sized lego men, so you could customise them, make them hold the weapons.

I know that would take up more space, but it would have been much cooler.

I didn't actually notice the men were undersized (harr), but wondered about the giant die. Now it makes more sense.

Playing an actual game with Legos is one of those things we wanted to do as kids; but being exceptionally stupid kids, we couldn't come up with good games. Shooting marbles at forts with rubber bands seemed like it would be fun, but the legos were surprisingly strong.

They sell a game now which is called Creationary, it's pictionary but you build stuff instead of drawing it.

There was a game here called Crossbows and Catapults which involved shooting stuff at walls you built. Was great fun. K_G, my brothers and I all spent hours shooting shit across my bedroom.

And breaking all the catapults as we loaded them with more and more rubber bands to shoot harder.

Wonder how many girls played this game though.

we played lots of crossbows and catapults too Crossbows with heavy rubber bands were awesome.

The Lego attempts were earlier. We had limited success with Lincoln logs.

I wonder what ever happened to my old Crown Royal bag full of glass marbles?

I do have to go and get a load of stuff out of my parents loft. Like my comics for instance. God knows what state they are in.

I guess Rocket Propelled Grenades are the natural modern equivalent to crossbows and catapults...
