Stick it on the 3:10 at Newbury...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/4904254.stm

Quote:
Manchester United and England footballer Wayne Rooney has accepted damages of 100,000 from the publishers of the Sun and the News of the World.

The newspapers had falsely reported the striker slapped his fiancee Coleen McLoughlin during a row at a nightclub in Cheshire in April last year.

Rooney has always strenuously denied the newspapers' story.

The Sun claimed he had been enjoying a night with his fellow United stars when the alleged incident took place.

The 3:10 at Newbury would be a horse race starting at ten past 3 at Newbury Racecourse.

and it should finish a little afterwards depending on the length of the course and the speed of the horse

the latter would heavily depend on the "natural" speed of the horse, the handicapping and the weight of the jockey

Also, giving the horse a doughnut and a bucket of water before the start might have a bearing as well

He says he's going to donate it all to charity. If I were him I'd use it to pay off some of those debts that the same papers have been making such a fuss about.
