JD Salinger's died.

He didn't write much, but everything he published was great. One of the most influential authors ever. Not much else to say. He was 91.

maybe because I only read it few years ago after hearing decades of incessant hype about it, Catcher in the Rye didn't impress me that much after all

I haven't read anything else by him, actually I don't even know any other title

maybe i'll see something getting pushed in bookshops now that he's gone
