it did, actually it was pink and mauve on sunday, for a few hours at the most
it got back on 15:11 precisely. This almost has the historical value of the broken watches found on the site of Pompeï's volcano (indicating the irruption hour)

I saw it when it was the normal black style but with black writing instead of white. I assumed Nav was pissing around with it.

you're supposed to say 'Pompeï's destruction by a volcano happened BC, no watches there, fucktard', to which I would have replied 'this is perhaps my finest 100-0'

this is so disappointing

That would have been a poor 100-0, because I thought you were trying to get someone to say that the watches wouldn’t stop as soon as the volcano erupted.

actually, it depends on the type of eruption
in Pompeï IMO they had a bit of time (couple of minutes, no more)
In Guadeloupe, when la Souffrière volcano litterally exploded around 1900, it was a matter of seconds before the whole population died

It's not the ash that broke the watches and clocks

I was refering to the montagne pelé disaster, 1902 in the french caraibans (I saw a broken watch in an exhibition on the tragedy)

in a matter of 2 minutes, 28.000 people died (cloud of ashes and inflamated gaz travelling at 160 km/h) and the town was razed

I KNOW!!!!
I was mixing on purpose Pompeï with other well known modern examples of clocks stopped by catastrophis (and had in mind the pelé one), -this concept of historical discrepancy was itself inspired by some italian peplums of the 50's where you can see plenty of roman legionnaires with wrist watches-, all that in order to fool somebody into a 100-0

never mind.... it's like giving jam to pigs, aka subtelty is wasted on twats

You can't bluster your way out of it that easily. We all know what you meant but your 100-0 attempt was clumsy and inelegant. Must try harder. C-.
