Call of duty 4

I'm not usually into really linear shooters, but this is soooooo soooo good. Great graphics, and a pretty immersive storyline for the single-player game.

Maybe I'll try it. For the first time I didn't get the most low down cheapest PC I could, something which I did in the past as a gesture of contempt to PCs.

This time I got one (not the cheapest not the most expensive) that has a nvidia 512MB video card and I think it can handle those sort of games.

I got out of my drawer Half life 2 but I just didn't feel immersed in it. and those zombies made me feel sick. I'm too old for that crap or too sensitive.

So WW2 mayhem sounds like a good, mature thing to do.

Oh I read just now in a review that it is about modern warfare.

I don't want this. I want something romantic like WW2.
Anyone knows which call of duty is about that?

Recently bought XBOX 360 plus Samsung HD Ready widescreen monitor. Bought a Pre-Owned Call Of Duty 2 a few weeks ago and it's amazing. Quality mission designs, great combat, lush graphics and really makes you feel you are actually there.

Will work my way up to Call Of Duty 4 but expect the next game i'll get will be GTAIV

I played a bit of 360 a few days ago. The only games I was really impressed with were Mass Effect (Great!) and Call of Duty 4.

Ah, I see. Well, I was running it on a quad-core with 512Mb nVidia 9600 that I bought two weeks ago.

Clarification- after whimpering about it at great length, I've now discovered you can cook off grenades in COD4. It's just not mentioned anywhere in the guides.

I just got COD 4 with my new graphics card since my old x800 finally decided to greet me with a pink screen one morning. The game seems pretty sweet.
