Indeed. They nearly had Australia in Australia in a short series recently. Their bowling looks very ordinary without Bond though.

I don't know very much about cricket but aren't New Zealand one of the little teams that we are supposed to beat easily?

The state of ignorance in English cricket is such that I have no clue whether Mike is joking or not.

Certainly it's been 50 years since the English beat us 'easily'. If they win this one, it might be the first time in a decade or so that they've beaten us.

So am I missing some odd kind of ironic English humour here, or does Mike need to watch something other than football occasionally?

Anyway you missed my point, which isn't whether or not we have or do beat you easily but whether we are supposed to.

NZ have never really been world beaters since the end of the crowes,
but then we havn't either.

Still we looked good in NZ 2 years ago, no idea how they managed to pullthat one back.

Well, we're a country of 3 million people in the south pacfic. We're like Fiji++, except colder. And we're a former colony.

You do the math, Mr "We call them Anzacs."

Exactly my point. It was a combined slating of the England team and compliment of the Kiwis.
