Fun, but not very realistic.

A side issue to the duration compression problem mentioned above is the last turn seems to determine your popularity. I ran at 100% popularity most of the game and introduced a number of unpopular measures (including the Carbon Police! ) and I got a dismal approval rating.

I wish the game designers would not impose their political views on the game model. Many important innovations like going to Mars should give more future tech options. Hosting the Olympics is going to mean a huge influx of cash and infrastructure improvements like mass transit for my fair city. The game had negative cash, food, CO2 & water for the Olympics.

Finally, there either needs to be more food options or more ways of controlling population growth.
