Surprisingly, I heard John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers on the radio today.
There ain't nuttin like old time British white-boy blues.

The english language is bizarre. You hear bands on the radio when you walk in the streets. I see half sunken people and musicians on top of radios. All wrong!

Of course the band is IN the radio and you walk ON the streets. No wonder there are englishmen with cottonfield illusions.

Funko 24-07-2015 14:51:38

the band is not in the radio. they would not fit. You fewl.

jsorense 25-07-2015 04:38:33

English, the simplest language in the world. I wish I understood it. :clueless:

Of course they are. A tiny copy of the band is sent over (sic!) the ether to perform in (!) the radio. I checked that myself. I heard "White punks on dope" in (!) my grandma's radio and I opened it and voilá - there they were!

jsorense 25-07-2015 17:00:35

Sure, the radio thing is easy, but how do they get into my iPod? :clueless:

Funko 28-07-2015 07:02:59

The white punks aren't on the dope, the dope is in the white punks.

On the contrary, they say something is in a picture, not ontop of it. Makes sense!

C.G.B. Spender 28-07-2015 14:57:30

So you don't know how a printer works?

zmama 28-07-2015 22:50:11

Printers work?

jsorense 29-07-2015 17:35:04

They're called manual typewriters.

C.G.B. Spender 03-08-2015 22:18:34

Are you still waiting?

zmama 03-08-2015 22:32:50

Yeah, the printer ran out of ink.

C.G.B. Spender 05-08-2015 05:42:37

It can even run!

jsorense 05-08-2015 10:21:10

Even my nose can run. :cute:
But my feet can only smell. :gasmaske:

MOBIUS 25-08-2015 09:01:17

Saw (and missed) loads of good stuff at the Green Man Festival this weekend:

Highlights included: Gwenno, Leftfield, St Vincent, Hot Chip, Sun Ra Arkestra, Super Furry Animals, Father John Misty.

Discoveries included: Atomic Bomb, Colorama, Teleman, Cocos Lovers, Charles Bradley, Sola Rosa Sound System, The Staves, Aurora.

Just looking back and realising how much stuff I missed as well...

zmama 25-08-2015 19:02:56

Sun Ra is fun :D

jsorense 26-08-2015 04:14:31

Well, I have some research ahead of me now. Thanks!

That was a mistake I regret. :violin:

Are small venues more accommodating to short people?

C.G.B. Spender 11-09-2015 21:09:28

That makes no reason!

jsorense 11-09-2015 21:23:21

It does if it's Political Science.

zmama 12-09-2015 13:50:02

Randy played Political Science to a very appreciative crowd :D

jsorense 13-09-2015 00:04:08

That song has a special place in my heart.

jsorense 10-07-2016 13:15:51
