Since only four to five people have sent in their stuff so far and the original deadline is three hours from now, I shall let the deadline continually roll until it hits a firm, plump wall on the 2nd of january, or whenever I have got all the reviews, whichever is earlier.

Okay, good. Today is my mother's 50th birthday and I've not had chance to do them yet...

Hear hear. What kind of excuse is Christmas and parents 50ths? Sod that turkey and booze, get writing those reviews! :p

First chance I've had to check this forum so glad the deadline's already been put back.

I just re-read my set of reviews for this last part. Seemes I was having quite a bad day when I wrote them. I don't think I liked any of the songs.

It's very rare that someone uses an English (?) word I've never heard before.

Scabby? What the fuck does "untendencious" mean?

02-01-2003, 22:26:45
Scabby? What the fuck does "Oouy" mean?

Comments returned.

Untendencious= Not inclined towards any particular approach or point of view. It just seemed to stray in the middle without forethought.

Oouy= a word said at least once in the chorus of your song. No idea what it means.

Debaser? What on earth possessed you to think an electronica track consisting of layered sixties soul samples with a man saying "Sky Flying" a few times over the top of it was by R.E.M.?

02-01-2003, 23:20:29
Hmmm, maybe writing my reviews while very drunk wasn't such a great plan...

I swear that song was by REM, let me just go listen again....

02-01-2003, 23:24:32
You've got to admit that the guy saying "Sky Flyin'" sounds kind of Stipe-esque......a little maybe.......no?

I couldn't think of a nineties icon so I went for Nina Persson of The Cardigans.

There is a news correspondant on TV called Nina Nannar which I find quite amusing :D
