Wow. According to this article in the New Scientist (http://www.newscientist.com/news/news.jsp?id=ns99993104) an amazing 40% of football players get injured during the off-season, before they've even started playing! Madness.

Doesn't surprise me. Couple friends have been in low level professional sports, and the training methods even there make you a cripple after a couple years...

You just have to gently touch a football player and he dives on to the floor, writhing in agony until he is taken away by medics. I think their idea of injury is far different from that of a normal person.

Only at an actual game, and in training the dying swan.

has anyone else noticed that when you hurt yourself once then you can often hurt yourself again really quick in that you maybe have a lower resistance or maybe that the first accident should have killed you and as it didnt then you are lucky and you have used up all of your luck for that time period be it day week or month and have to take your place at the back of the queue at the luck kitchen one other thing is that this likely to be true as often there is no physichal link between the two accidents and so you could not say one affected the other apart from the reason here

No because I should be dead about 4 or 5 times by now with the way I drive and how many accidents I've been in.

so maybe then you just have a very lot of luck or you jump the queue at the kitchen whatever you are very lucky and that is good

i never use punctuation because it is an artificial construct designed to make the written word look like the spoken word and thats stupid as you cant hear words on a page so its stupid trying to do so and besides all those symbols just dont mean anything in a gloabal sense so it is just one sort of elitism to do that

The real reason is that you failed grammar and you're too stupid to know how to type it.

Puncuation is as much an artificial construct as any formal language. Punctuation though is there to facilitate effective communication of one's language in any form, be it spoken, or written. In fact, the written language is almost totally dissimilar to the spoken language in any regard, so the arguement that punctuation is there purely to make the written lanugage appear like the spoken language is false, as well as stupid. Besides, spelling is just as important. Being able to communicate effectively has nothing to do with elitism, it's just a skill that one has developed effectiveness in.

Language itself is an artificial construct so you should probably just stop speaking.

AEs are artificial constructs.
