Still just keeping to 2.80 in Chiswick but with an increase in the offing.

This reminds me of the "4.50 a pint" lament thread I posted a few weeks back.

4.50 for a pint in a bar round the corner from my office here in The City. Madness.

It's interesting - there are 2 pubs equidistant from my house. One sells Stella at 2.80 the other at $2.50.

Which one do I go to?

The 2.80 one of course.

Maybe it's because the 2.50 one is in Acton/Shepherd's Bush?

Have you got more money than sense?!

He's got more money and sense so he goes to the cheaper safer place.

I'm confused by his combination of Acton with Shepherds Bush

Is that some kind of animal sex reference?

You know the fabric of society is breaking down when they start charging that much for beer.:bash:

In the fair capital of Sweden, beer can be had for $10 a half-litre.

Another reason to emigrate.

Why are the prices going up so much? Are Weatherspoon's pubs still cheaper?
