She's such an amazing songwriter and singer.

She's a complete babe as well. I've got pictures of her all over my bedroom walls.

I just burnt it.
I couldn't face going up to the counter with it in my hand. The Alt. Country posse would disown me

Sean

Buy it in Woolworth’s or something so they won’t see you.

Provost Harrison
22-11-2002, 17:20:28

Woolworths counter woman 'Is this a stick up?'
PosterBoy 'No, I am just buying Avril Lavigne and I didn't want you to see my face. And some pick and mix please'

Can you buy Avril Lavigne herself in Woolworths?

Is this American or British definition of 'pants'? :hmm:

I should have put one of her songs on LWP3 just to see you all slag her off... :)

Incidentally, on most of the forums I post on the picture PB posted is my avatar... including 'Poly. :cute:

There's a couple of unfortunate pauses in the chorus of that song... she sings "I wanna blow you... *pause* ...away". Pleasant thought. :cute:

She's like a female version of the guy from SUM 41

Thank god. It has been bugging me ever since - how my girlfriend could take that photo without batting an eye-lid

Was a great party until I spilt oil all down the steps and then hid under the stairs waiting for people to slip to their deaths:bouncmsk:

Funkodrom
29-11-2002, 14:54:40
It wasn't down the steps, just on the kitchen floor. Several people nearly died.

And I believe I caught you pouring water though my bedroom door keyhole because I locked it.

I remember everyone trying on the fairy wings and at some point Smev shouting "Will no man here snog me!"

Debaser
29-11-2002, 15:11:40
I remember:-

- Us forcing everyone to listen to really loud classic rock.
- Smev nearly killing himself when he fell over your conservatory drain cover thing.
- Some random boring looking non-drunk people looking increasingly annoyed as the party progressed.
- Me performing bad air-guitar to iron maiden whilst wearing fairy wings.
- Tom accidently kicking a hole in your wall.
- The previously mentioned Nills/Nills sister slavial exchange.

But not much else

Funkodrom

- Us forcing everyone to listen to really loud classic rock.

True! Dan and Ruth's friends hated us for that... It was so quiet before my friends arrived.

- Smev nearly killing himself when he fell over your conservatory drain cover thing.

 Forgot that.

- Some random boring looking non-drunk people looking increasingly annoyed as the party progressed.

It wasn't that they were non-drunk it was just that we were utterly bollocksed on everything we could get our hands on.

- Me performing bad air-guitar to iron maiden whilst wearing fairy wings.

I have a photo of that as well. You, me Shakey and Nills with your feet up on the windowsill playing air guitar.

- Tom accidently kicking a hole in your wall.

Accidently?! They were having some kind of kung-fu tournament in the hallway.

- The previously mentioned Nills/Nills sister slavial exchange.

I remember going out around midnight to meet all you guys and see the fireworks. We were walking past the Butts and it was all cordoned off, this guy said. "I can't stop you walking past here but the fallout from the fireworks is coming down here so it's dangerous." I looked at him. took a sip of my glass of red wine, waved with my bottle of champagne and said "I think we'll risk it" then walked along suddenly shitting myself but scared to look up in case a firework fell in my eye.

I can't remember anything. I am told that I eventually got off with smev though. Or some other guy. I really wish I remembered. I'd like to list the substances that we took that night but the list would be endless.

What a great way to spend the change over to the Millenium.

Have you ever seen the Millenium video of what we got up to before we left for your party Mike?

Funkodrom

No! I bet it was more interesting than me sitting around with the boring sober kids though!

Funkodrom
29-11-2002, 17:12:50
Oh and does anyone remember at about 4 or 5 am Nills dragging some gullible people to a 'party' and walking about 5 miles out of Reading to finally end up at a garage party where there was literally someone fixing a van in one of the rooms?

Debaser
29-11-2002, 17:14:29
I remember the story, but thankfully I wasn't one of the gullible people.

So typical of him though.

Funkodrom
29-11-2002, 17:16:37
He was trying to persuade me to go. I thought my argument of "Look I'm literally 3 meters from my bed and already at a really good party, why would I want to head out into the cold to go to some random party that might or might not exist..."

Debaser
29-11-2002, 17:17:50
I bet that still wasn't good enough for him though.

Funkodrom
29-11-2002, 17:19:04

Apparently "he's not that fit but he's got a way of looking at you that makes you feel really dirty in a good way"

No comment as to who said that but it wasn't me.

I wasn't. That's too much into the CG football thread type humour which I avoid like the plague.
