To BHG - the faq is available and asking for more quesies

In fairness it doesn't sound bad. Interesting that it is technology that drives the pop cap which to my mind is fair enough. It's a bit civ-like (discover sanitation) and a better way to model real life IMHO.

Note, though, the borders are in there. This sounds a bit like SMAC in that sense and, all that frustration of borders pressing in on you will be there. Seems like Brian was the genius that put this in SMAC.

Just as I was getting used to the more tactical AoM pop cap :(.

I wouldn't rate this as a serious threat to AoM, Sean:)

It was certainly discussed there but I thought the view was that people didn't want borders.

No, people wanted borders.

It seemed really weird in CivII how you could slip an engineer behind the lines and create several cities in their territory, without you ever being able to see them.

It will be interesting to see how it works out.
