Yes, thanks.

Yeah, I realised it was Jimmy Eat World later. Nowhere near as good as the stuff on the new album.

Track 5 I said I thought must be Snapcase's, Debaser said "It can't be, he likes good stuff and that's shit" totally.

Whatever Scabby said about it is bollocks, it's just Shite.

I never would have guessnig it was Guy for that first track.

I said it was Queen Adreena! You are my bitch, Snapcase.

Sure am. It might have been a King Adora record we got into the office that sounded nothing like this. Easy to confuse the two. :D

You've got 5 days to submit the second section, anyone feel inclined to do so or are you overwhelmed by the crapness of this one?

I was quite surprised that Sean liked the Crissy D track myself. :)

5 days should be fine.

More than I should, like I said.

Note: when I said ‘less Asian’ I meant a different part of Asia. Er.

I knew what you meant. As you were talking about Asian Dub Foundation it was less Asian Dub Foundation bit of Asia.. :)

So is that new Underworld album worth getting? That track was pretty good.

Also I've been trying to get hold of Love Your Money by Daisy Chainsaw but haven't been able to yet. :(

I would have never guessed it was Jimmy

It is good to read about what people made of what :D

So at least you didn't totally blast my Bad Religion song. But I would have expected it from a bunch of tasteless twats like you lot :p

Compare it "like for like". "Holiday in Cambodia" is on CD 2 and it's so far ahead of that Bad Religion track that it's off the scale.

That highlights the problem with most punk. Because it's so conservative, a lot of tracks attract praise for their orthodoxy rather than for any innovation or energy. Face facts, most of the punk tracks on this compilation sound pretty listless in comparison with that old DK barnstormer.

Like I expected, I don't know most of the songs mentioned... I'm a bit surprised that PH chose Do What You Want, and I assume even worse, the tame Suffer version. The live All Ages version is vastly superior IMO, even though it remains an okay song in the other versions as well. At least he had the decency to pick a song I know :D

Considering your review of it, I'll take that as a compliment. :p

Strangely enough Guy, one of the main reasons i didn't like it (which i gave up writing down) was that on my 7 hour stopover at incheon airport, I watched a lot fo Korean MTV and that sounded a lot like the stuff they were playing on that. (either hopelessly optimistic, or hopelessly tragic) After 7 hours listening, too tired to move, I learnt to hate it all :)
