....is rediscovering a lost and obscure classic that you worshipped in your teenage years, and realising it's still absolutely fucking brilliant.

After years of looking, I've finally tracked down "Fire of love" by The Gun Club on CD. It's a belter. A brilliant band- real raucous and punky swamp blues. Makes The White Stripes sound like The Carpenters.

As long as you stick to the first one you're in for a treat.

One-word dyslexia is a shameful handicap, just 'cause I'm differently abled when it comes to that one word doesn't mean you should wave it under my nose!

(It's additionally embarassing 'cause I'm usually an excellent speller. Especially in Swedish, used to be champion of my class at primary school.)

I'm going to track down all those David Hasselhoff songs now. Just so I can destroy the CDs all over again.

Mid-teenage years then. I was 19 when I started to take music seriously.

Yes, I must admit that music in general is one of my 'pleasures'. There seem to be precious few things I really enjoy nowadays, music being one of the few...and we can guess what some of the others are :cute:

Posting self-depreciating jokes about yourself on the net and then getting upset when other people join in?
