Very early Pink Floyd.
Early Verve.
Early Stone Roses, not the joke of a band I saw at Reading Festival!
The gig in Zaire that coincided with the Rumble in the Jungle with James Brown etc.

The Stax Tour of Europe stop in Paris. It's astounding on video, I so wish I'd been there.

I would love to have seen Metallica while Cliff Burton was still alive.

That guy had crazy fingers.

Hell yeah. He was the one that inspired me to start playing. I started off on bass then moved on to guitar.

I wish I could have sat in on the recording of the White Album. Maybe have even contributed to the Bunalow Bill track!

I'd love to have seen either Nirvana, Soundgarden or Alice in Chains live. Won't happen I'm afraid, although Pearl Jam or Cornell's new band might be possible. Metallica, Therapy?, QOTSA, Rammstein and Slayer are on my "Going to the gig as soon as they play anywhere near" list as well.

Black Sabbath in their early days, Husker Du, the Pixies or Kyuss would have been nice, too.

Or Verve at the after dark. My sister was there along with about 15 others. Dr & the Medics at the after dark would have been good too.

We have to get that venue back on track with bands.

Funkodrom

Yeah. Maybe we should put them on?

It is very hard to do business with those guys. They don't like their routine messed up. They routinely cancel people's events without them knowing after they've spent all the money on promotion, DJs etc.

We could maybe team up with a local publication or roc soc?

Funkodrom

Rock soc aren't particularly organised for something like that. Besides The Fez is doing the equivalent job these days. Although the promoters insistance that local bands buy 40 tickets to re-sell is a bitch.

Maybe we should just concentrate on playing the gigs...

Yup. For now...

Funkodrom

Can I have/borrow your 3 then?

Funkodrom
17-10-2002, 14:13:13
You can borrow it anyway, I hardly ever play it anymore, and from next weekend I'll be full time on PES2. Playing it at the weekend did remind me what a great game it was though.
