I found it on the Trojan Calypso Box Set I just bought. It's a cover of, of all songs, "Do-Re-Mi" from The Sound of Music, by a band called The Mighty Vikings. Wicked instrumental solos!

Right now "Hotel California" by the Moog Cookbook.
Also the latin version from the Big Lebowski is great too.

Actually any version of Hotel California rocks… except for the Eagles'.

Nina Hagen band "White Punks on Dope" or, even better, Dead Kennedy's "Rawhide"

Dread Zepplin - Black (hound) dog
The Bobs - White Room (a capella)

The best cover album ever is Big Daddy's Cutting Their Own Groove, but I recently heard a rockabilly band do a great cover Pink Floyd's The Wall album. Sadly I was in a friend's car at the time and I forgot to get the name of the band.
