The following is some ad hoc market research. Please just respond to each question if you will.

1. How many fiction books do you read each year?
2. How many do you buy?
3. How many of those bought are hardbound?
4. How many are paperback?

I read 100s of fictional books each year

I buy ~30

most of them paperback

I read mostly sci-fi and fantasy, but read a bit of everything else as well (big on classics and historical I guess as well)

Paperbacks.. probably half, and shrinking rapidly.

"e-books".. Heaps.

Just wondered. I just learned about e-books from a friend of mine. He hangs out on newsgroups and gets unauthorized e-books. (Regular novels.)
