i've been given the task of finding some music for our company presentation for Hospitality 2002.

no vocals ( i can do editing)

Boss wanted Kylie 'can;t get you out of my head' but it is to boring

might use Spiller groove jet ' if this aint love'
some nice drums only bit and variations ( downloading some different remixes)

Any other ideas?

Use that totally inappropriate song from Beverly Hills Cop. I can't remember the name off the top of my head.

I may have to be on the stand myself for a day or two, so it is in my best interest to find something pleasant to the ear.

What about the HARDMAN song?

First song that came to mind, I may do a fake version for the fun of it. Once I get the appropriate legal permissions of course :D

Most LeftField tracks work surprisingly well for company presentations...

You want the instrumental version of To Sir With Love.

I never realised how crap power point was.
You can only add music to a slide and not a whole slide show.
It gets even worse when you have text 'sliding in'.

Now going to use flash to create the presentation.

Powerpoint... made by Microsoft. ie. Easy to do something basic but if you want to do something slightly less 'standard' you are fucked.

PowerPoint 2000 is actually not too shabby, but you are right, if you want to do something sophisticated, use Flash. PowerPoints graphics and audio handling frankly does suck goats.
