Well, from what I've heard, these lot really do seem to be stuck in 1977. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing... but I just can't get into them at all. Odd.

Sounds like a nasty itchy disease.

I expect that it's a pile of hype.

They're stuck in 1957. Like all good rock bands are. And they're much better live than on record...

I still preffer The Vue for my Garage Rock Revival kicks.

They're playing in the UK in February with Sahara Hotnights as support...

I recommend their live show. It's immensely fun- they're totally overconfident showmen. Other than that I don't much care for them.

I might check them out actually, I quite liked the song of theirs I heard and they look like they would be a laugh on stage...

Nice... OK I'm sold. :D

The Hotnights are definately better than the Hives purely based on their songs. The Hives put on the better show, though.

Who said anything about songs? ;)

I've seen a picture of The Hives, I don't see much competition really.

Wanna go see the show in Leeds for nouse? It's on the same night as my BRMC/Lostprophets/Coral gig. We could have a drink before and afterwards or something.
