My vote's on "The Velvet Underground and Nico". I've just re-bought it on CD. I'd forgotten just how incredible it was. Even if "Run, run, run" sounds like it was recorded in a pit.

Fleetwood Mac "Rumours" is a nominee.

I still say "The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society" by The Kinks or "On The Beach With The Paragons" by The Paragons.

It would seem that putting the artist’s name in the title of the album is a pre-requisite.

That would make "Never Mind The Bollocks Here's The Sex Pistols" my #3 choice, since I don't own any other albums with the band's name in it. Except Eponymous albums. One of which would be my third choice. Er.

You're going to nominate some appalling hardcre crap, aren't you?

More than likely ;)

I've never been one to be able to choose 'favourite albums' and 'favourite songs', it changes from day to day and mood to mood.

So do mine, but I'm always completely sure at any one point. :D

In that case, Supergrass by Supergrass.
