I find the off switch on my computer works best with DII.:)

I don't get it. Where's the trick?

The trick is the field of icebolts between the three sorcs (and then, four sorcs), which is going in both directions at the same time.

Yep--it's because of how Chilling Armor works. It fires off an ice bolt at anything that shoots at the sorc. If the target of the ice bolt is a sorc who also has Chilling Armor activated, that sorc's armor will return fire with a bolt of its own. There's no built-in stop for this, so the armors will continue to bounce ice bolts back and forth until a sorc moves enough to cause a miss, something gets in between, or one of them dies. There's also no apparent limit to the ice bolts that can be in play, so as long as the sorcs continue to shoot each other, more ice bolts will be added to the volleys.

So, the sorcs in the photo activated armors, then beaned each other several times apiece to 'draw' the lines of the triangle and square; had there been five, they could have made a nifty pentagram.

You can also have some real damge-causing fun with this too. Take two sorcs with low level Chilling Armor and Inferno, and good cold resist and MDR. Have both activate CA and hostile each other, and have one or both fire Inferno at the other; since Inferno has 25 attacks/second, that's how many ice bolts will be generated per second. After 30 seconds of 'charging', you'll have 750 bolts in play, with (I think)at lvl 1 2-8 pts damge apiece, or 1500-6000 damage total (increase charge time for more bolts, etc.). You then take a stroll through Chaos Sanctuary...

This was known as a 'chilling laser'.

As an aside, Starcraft had a similarly cool trick where you could make a moving circle of units by getting them all to follow each other, then having the leader follow the last unit in the chain:).

I find that is also best, RC.

Cool--I wonder if that could be done with the 'guard' function in Total Annhilation...
