I seem to want to believe this every time I listen to it. Is something wrong with me?

Yes.

I just get caught up, it's the only album I sing along to in public.

No, no it isn't.

Have you even heard it? "All of my friends were there" is stuck in my head again.

If it's by The Kinks then no.

Again, how would you know?

I was going to reduce my claim to "The best album with a title which is a phrase containing the band's name", but then I thought of On The Beach With The Paragons, and to a lesser extent Never Mind The Bollocks Here's The Sex Pistols, surely two of the stronger competitors of the title. And that's before you count eponymous albums, like Modern Lovers.

I've heard a lot of The Kinks' songs, and it just isn't to my tastes. I probably wouldn't like one off the album.

What exactly do you like, Matt? I've never been able to grasp this.

I like what I like. I don't particularly like genres of music.

You like The Beatles but not The Kinks? Strange.

I don't like all of The Beatles' stuff. Love the Seargent Peppers album though.

The other day I saw Stereophonics described as "pub-rockers-got-lucky". Couldn't have put it better myself. :)

Though Performance & Cocktails has a few decent songs...
