I've got a limited edition set of AOL CDs that I could let you have for a small consideration!

Choral works of Marcel Dupre, recorded by the Vasari Singers. It's a cracker - nominated for Gramophone CD of the Year...

Nothing like blowing my own trumpet! :D

www.vasarisingers.org for all the details

http://www.gramophone.co.uk/edschoice.asp?edsdate=01/10/01

for the review from Gramophone, can also buy it online from there if you're really really keen!

Don't suppose it's really up the musical avenue of most people here though :(

Not sure about that. A few here might appreciate it...

You may call me an old fart, actually I think you already have, but I listened to Quadrophenia a couple of weeks ago, after a long hiatus, and now I can't get those songs out of my head.
The Who's finest collaboration.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Funny, I was talking to Keith about Quadrophenia last night. Indeed quite good, but the problem is I got it already. It's even the remastered version, which is FAR better than the old version

Does that mean you and RC are old farts too?

Any way, have you listened to Bob Dylan's latest, Love and Theft?
It is haunting. The music styles are pre-Rock n Roll. Dylan's voice is totally gone. He sounds older than his 60 years.
But there is still weight there.

No, but I listened to Time out of Mind, which is very good.
I think we can count as old farts, yes.
