My stepson saw the performance at the Hollywood Bowl Monday.
He said Pete Townshend was a total maniac and that it was probably the best concert he had ever seen.
Is Rock dead?

But had your stepson been to a gig where they were all still alive?

Funko,
The answer of your question is "no."
What was cool though is that he called me on his cell phone so I could hear.
Given the limited technology, Roger sounded pretty good.

I was just wondering if The Who without two members might be good but how would they compare to the original line-up? Both missing members are irreplaceable. IMO.

I agree with you Sparky.
With half the band gone how can they maintain their musical identity. Sure, they can haul out the oldies and cover them ok but what about the new CD they were suppose to work on? Granted Towshend contributed the most toward song writing but they all had a nearly equal part in the Who's unique sound.
No, they haven't been the same since Keith self destruced.

PosterBoy, no he didn't.
