What an awesome aircraft!

And what an ignominious end to the British fleet which we lied about selling to the Americans for spare parts and thus had aircraft carriers without aircraft! :clueless:

Aren't you about to get two new 60k tons aircraft carriers?

Without aircraft, of course....

Apparently we get the aircraft for the aircraft carriers this year, and the aircraft carriers are due to reach 'operating capability' in 2020...

Apparently we think it's more important to have nukes than a lack of aircraft carrying aircraft carriers for 10 years! :clueless:

You may get the aircraft, but can they fly?

just wait a bit and you'll be able to get F-35's, real, real cheap

Ok, so they won't fly.

Scrapping the Harriers seemed like a silly idea without an alternative, but what do I know? :clueless:

The F-35 seems to have no end to problems which delay it.

Where are they priced now? 300 Million a piece?

Depends on which one you want. They're developing multiple versions, each with a different intended use. I guess that's part of the problem.

I know, one main problem seems to be with integrating two standard aircraft types and the vertical take-off variant. But the price tags aren't that far apart....

I'm sure some congressmen are making a lot of money out of it though

Oh, yeah. You know that is true.
