Are pretty badass.

I would put spoiler tags but I guess anyone who opened this already got spoilered

I'm assuming he'll get brought back to life by the fire witch as has already been demonstrated to be possible many times.

He isn't dead yet just stabbed multiple times and bleeding badly. If he does die he could be brought back by the red witch and that would be like being "reborn" like Azor Ahai.

As someone that's never watched GoT, I'm just going to nod politely.

I don't watch it either, but if you have magic to resurrect the dead, you don't even need to use the obscure death rule to bring someone back.

The main argument is thst the night's watch serve for life so if he dies and is brought back then he would no longer be stuck at the wall. Of course, many people don't like the magic part and hope he survives so he can lead the defence against the others. He could still be made free of the night's watch vows if the others over run the wall destroying the nights watch which is already down to only a few hundred sworn brothers.

She ran away from that early having had a premonition it would all go to shit, so she rode back into the fort just before it happened IIRC (although I could be confused with what happens in the books... she's definitely there in the books)

It's because there's speculation he's actually the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Eddard's sister Lyanna Stark so therefore potentially one of Dany's dragon riders, but this assumes a lot of things are going to happen and that it ends up with Dragons vs White Walkers but considering the name of the series it'd be really disappointing if that wasn't the end.

In the books she never left after beginning to doubt that Stannis was really the prince who was promised. Also in the books she saod she has never been able to revive anyone and that she was jealous that the drunken priest in the brotherhood withput banners could do it.

Exactly. Personally, I think the R+L=J theory is solid and well foreshadowed in the books. GRRM just took so long writing the series that readers have had 20+ years to figure out the puzzle. GRRM does like to salt hints here and there in his books so that people can figure thinga out if they really try but the problem is figuring out which of the hundreda of clues are important and which of the unreliable narrators are telling the truth. So you have to take one little forgetable nugget from five books back and combine it with other little clues spread out across the series all of which he has disguosed well.

It is like a 20 year long seven book Agatha Christie novel.
