Coolness! What's the format? Bit of a radio geek here.

Chicago doesn't even have a current/modern rock station. We haven't had one for many years now. In fact, we didn't even have an alternative rock station for a while. It's back now albeit a little bit wussier than before. We have 2 classic rock stations, but nothing that plays "rock" music from this millennium. You'd think that a population area close to 10 million people would have a station that plays whatever is popular in real rock music now, but no ... Sad really.

Look at the ownership of the stations, I'm betting they are all owned by Clear Channel or Cumulus, thank you Saint Ronnie.

I know Cumulus bought the alternative station and one of the classic rock stations a while ago. I'm not sure who owns the other classic rock station.

It's weird to think that there's now an entire generation of kids that never saw a music video on MTV.

Because they are blind! Sad story indeed!

Funko

MTV was shit, those kids can program their own series of videos on YouTube from a vastly wider choice, it's vastly superior. Lucky them.
