View Full Version : massively important question

If you are putting tiles in the bathroom:

would you go for a nice light grey (beige) on the floor and keep it the same colour for some more centimeters off the floor, and then change the colour to a lighter gray untill it goes to the roof?

I think this is more spaceship like when you're doing your business.

put tiles on the floor and then do like columns of different colour that rise from the floor to the roof?

This is also sci-fi but I don't think it's as much inspiring for doing your business.

This is very important because once it's done it can't be undone.

Yes and no.

If you make them pee colored, you'll never have to clean them.

I guess that's what he meant with "beige", which is the refined french word for urine.

" light grey (beige)" ?

Anyway: One colour for the floor, another for the wall. More contrast (dark gray for the floor).

We changed colour from dark grey on the floor to light grey on the walls.

I can't picture beige and grey looking nice together, pick one colour and do shades of it, or have one of them be white.

that's what i meant by beige. light grey.

however, I've seen a bathroom that had dark grey on the floor and it kept going up the wall for some centimeters, then change to light grey. that looked very good.

that's the one idea. and the other is to do "columns".
that is dark gray on the floor, then all light gray on the walls that will have "columns" of dark gray rising.
(of course i'm getting a pro to do it, it would be hilarious and highly unfunctional if i tried)

Just FYI beige is light brown.

Khaki has a wee hint of green to it. ;)

Khaki is the colour or victorious troops wear as they march into Germany.

I'm going more for the spaceship look.
Military echos constipation whereas spaceship means relaxing among the stars and taking a dump in stellar harmony.

Burnt Sienna, my favorite Crayola crayon color!

I like the columns idea. Do light gray on the bottom and about 8" up. Then wide columns of dark gray alternated with continuation up of the light gray.

Wouldn't pink add a nice touch to your house?

23-07-2015, 16:35:04
More of a spaceship look? Will you have a vacuum cleaner in the toilet then?
