Crashed mine at about 7 miles per hour, broke the headlight, scratched some paint. Quoted repair: $1627.

That's why I keep my Beemer coated in bubble-wrap. ;)

If you own a freaking Mercedes, $1627 is pocket change, Moneybags.

I can own a mercedes because I know when I'm being ripped off.

Fix it yourself. A little duct tape can do wonders.

I had a 2010 Audi A4 S-Line. Neighbour drove into the rear quarter panel at less than 5 mph, managed to lightly damage 3 panels plus he hit the wheel out of alignment. Got 3 quotes and the cheapest was 5,500! Absolutely scandalous.

What Mercedes have you got? I really like the new CLA, but it's just too small.

It's not the one from the pictures, that would have been even more expensive.

I've got a c-class now. I also think the cla looks pretty slick, but it's definitely small. Back seats are nearly useless. They should have made it a coupe.

That is why I got the 228i. I like the coupe, the back seats will fit adults (hobbits), I think it look cool despite the bubble wrap, it drives like a dream and it good on gas.

You should have crashed it here: The cost would be the same, but at least the number wouldn't be as big... :cute:

We have this version of the CLA (plus the hatchback) over in the UK:

My wife and I got T-boned in one of those little sporty ones driven by a retired couple.

No one got hurt, but he was probably going 20-25 mph. Bet that cost.

was was!

The A class? By all accounts that's actually a better a car than the CLA.

Ouch! That had to have hurt. Don't bad-mouth retired persons in sporty cars though. :mr_b:
