I've been re-discovering the Beatles stuff recently, HMV had 4 or 5 of their albums in their sale. Truely magnificent group. Don't think I realised how good a guitarist Harrison was until recently either.

MikeH- didn't Rob used to do gardening for George Harrison?

I wanted to buy the remastered "All things must pass" album next week. I guess it will be out of stuck now.

They'll probably print up extra copies.

Right on, Snapcase.

Walking through HMV this lunctime, what could I not get away from. Yep, you've got it - Beatles records playing in the store. Haven't heard that in HMV for a while.

Now, I know some good natured soul will tell me that they were doing it as a tribute......

Never managed to work out how the record shops/companies could justify charging 17 quid for any of the Beatles albums, rising to 35 quid for the White Album. These albums have been selling for 30 years for goodness sake, they must be raking the biggest profit margin ever out of Beatles cds.

Oh, wait, doesn't it all go to Michael Jackson?

I bought all the Beatles albums I have on sale, fuck paying 17 for them. Great music though.

George was a good guitarist, very underrated I think.

Rob's dad used to be George Harrison's Head Gardener, pretty big job on his estate which includes an underground cave system and lake. George's son went to college with the former Unholy Guitarist 3 and he once went with George's son to find him to borrow some cash or something and there was George Harrison on a boat on the underground lake sharing a joint with Jules Holland.
