Beer cheaper than bottled water.

Sounds too good to be true. I did not go myself.

Apparently also features a Soviet-era church, which is actually more like a giant clock.

Not as weird as the radio tower with the giant babies crawling on it.

And the beer there is expensive these days since joining the EU, used to be insanely cheap.

Stupid economic prosperity.

First the beer prices go up then the hookers start charging more and before you know it the place isn't worth visiting any more. :p

If Prague becomes too expensive, just go further east.

I went there last year and it wasn't that expensive. They do rape you if you try to pay in euros tho.

It went up from something like 10p a half litre to 1 a half litre. INSANE! (1/4 the price of the UK)

The question is, how much beer do you have to drink to make it financially worthwhile to go to Kiev instead?

Mr. Bas

Never mind, Kiev is actually relatively expensive. Replace Kiev by some arbitrary harder to get to, but cheap city.

How much beer do you have to drink to make it worth going to Prague rather than the local pub?
