Eating more insects could help fight world hunger, according to a new UN report. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-22508439)

Maybe a plague of locusts could be looked on as flying lunch...?:bouncmsk:

I hear cicadas are great raw when they first emerge from the ground. Try it and tell us! It's not cicada year here :D

They're easier to chew before the shells harden, right? :p

I've had fried crickets, a fried scorpion, and fried grasshoppers but that was more of a lark while on vacation than anything else. I don't see westerners adopting such things as regular dining fair.

Squid aren't very bright and they will try to eat anything they can fit in their beak. The small ones, like the Market Squid, are kind of cool and not too aggressive (they spawn off of La Jolla every year then die and wash up on shore in the thousands) but the Humboldt Squid though are big and highly aggressive plus their beaks can easily take a golf ball sized bite out of divers and they do it all to regularly.
