i have a closet full of pants but i systematically wear only 3 or four.
so i went and bought some more.

then it dawned on me, why am i not wearing the other pants?

because there was an illusion.
the closet was full (so i didnt go and buy more clothes) but i had nothing to wear!!!

so i did a clean out and tried ALL THE PANTS.

sure as rain on a sunday 6 of my pants were had a too small waste (or mine is too big anyway).

and there are good pants

replay, calvin clain etc

so there is a very very old lady my family knows who is a....???? rectifier of clothes?

i got my six ultra expensive PANTS and asked if something can be done.

she said yes but that it will saw. for example there will be something like a triangle at the back of the waist of the pants where she will place new fabric thus widening the waistline.

now i dont know but if this is visible i wont wear them (to my great sorrow) and maybe use them for manual work.

i'll be the first digging a garden with calvin clain jeans on

(i know it is a gay subject but i am saddened by the pants situation because i dont have such good pants now)

aren't you supposed to be starving in Greece????

should'nt the crisis help you drop down the needed sizes to fit in your griffed trousers again?

Why would anyone have expensive pants? I mean moderately priced blue jeans can last a decade easily.

Exactly. A good bout of starvation and you'll be fine.

Try the new 5:2 fasting diet.

I'm serious!

If you can't afford to eat in the way you're accustomed, you might as well make it work to your advantage by doing something like the 5:2 diet. 4,000 less calories in the week is 4,000 less calories of food you have to buy AND you get healthier for it!

And terror attacks in the subway are wonderful because they dimished an overcrowded city like london :)
You really should be thankful to the so called terrorists. They're really working for your benefit (besides they're tottally justified won't you agree?) They have to defend their oil reserves.
And a suicide bomber is the poor man's F16 :)

Being poor we don't have money for the movies, so things like that provide a pleasant thrilling excitement in our mundane everyday life.

I hear they might have found a bunch of off shore oil in Greek waters. Soon all the Greek people might be able to buy new pants and pay back their German creditors. This is a good and bad thing as it will give them breathing room but might mean they don't do the structural reforms which they so badly need to do. Lowering the minimum wage, reducing regulations so they no longer smoother the economy, changing pension laws, firing all those redundant government workers, privatizing the economy, and opening it up so it becomes more competitive.

So, let's see:

You're complaining you're poor and can't go to the movies to take your mind off the shit situation in Greece, but you can still afford to eat and therefore stay fat - otherwise you'd be able to fit into your pants...?

So, instead of my neat solution of being able to go to the movies:

Save money on eating less; getting slimmer; fitting into your pants again; not paying the tailor for unnecessary work.

You have gone for no movies:

Still eating too much food; being fat; paying a tailor so now you have fucked up pants...:beer::beer:

Maybe she'll go to the movies now...?:cute:

also (and Im glad we're back to pants).
These pants were bought when, for a very brief period in my life, i was amazingly slim (borderline underweight).
Now I'm my normal size.
But the pants I bought at that brief window of time were ultra expensive.

So I really had to choices: getting them fixed or throwing them away.

So if I followed your program, I would be underweight and in serious health danger.
Aka luckily I didnt! (dont need a second troika messing up the pants)

I looked at ebay.
I bought them around 180 euros.
Used they sell at 5...

I could give them to a homeless guy.
But sleeping on the street wearing replay jeans it's something of a david lynch morbid fantasy.

Don't you have the equivalent of a Walmart where you can buy cheap Chinese made jeans for $6? Sure, they're not fancy name brand but you were saying you were short of cash and needed new pants and you could buy ~30 new pairs of pants for the price of that one pair of pants. Hell, mix and match and buy 8 new pants, 8 new shirts, socks, undies, and a cheap pair of Chinese shoes for $10, then save the difference.

If you're poor it's all about making your money stretch and buying designer jeans is rarely the best option for an unemployed person or someone short on cash.

I'm not saying it would be high style but it would allow him to stop wearing the jeans he's out grown while getting a good amount of new clothes which actually fit without breaking his tight budget. Besides, they still look like regular jeans, they're offered in a range of colors (if all rather bland and traditional), and they cost less than most fast food burger meal deals.

Here we go, $9.96 is their online price but it's a dollar off if you buy them in the store (so no shipping costs) and if you wait for a sale I bet you could get them in the $7 range.

Poison Arrow Frog thank you for your interest but I'm not that poor. "Fortunately" I still have my job and my own house (thank you grandma)
What I wonder these days is wether I'm poor in a democratic sense. Especially with all that it's happening in my country.
